My Mission
For twenty-five years I have lived as a poet, a DIY folk rocker, a libertarian activist, a technologist, and a counterculture philosopher. My art has always been about sovereignty, truth, and rebellion — pushing back against a culture that commodifies life, censors freedom, and teaches us to be ashamed of our bodies.
Now, I take the most radical step of all:
to reclaim sexuality as sacred space,
to claim intimacy as worship,
to declare love and desire as the holiest forms of human freedom.
This is not a career pivot. This is the natural extension of the philosophy I have lived for decades. Every song, every poem, every manifesto has led me here — to the point where I embody my truth with my whole body, where my art becomes not just words or music, but flesh and spirit united in performance.
Sex as Spiritual Practice
I reject the lie that sex is shameful, dirty, or obscene.
I reject the machine that exploits desire while denying its sacredness.
I reject the notion that intimacy must be hidden in darkness.
For me, sex is prayer.
Intimacy is worship.
The body is the altar, the breath is the hymn, and love is the fire that lights it all.
Every act of connection is a positive and holy exchange of divine energies — two sovereign individuals discovering and revealing the depths of one another. This is not pornography. This is celebration. This is revelation. This is life itself made visible.
A Sovereign Reclamation
Culture sold sex to corporations. Religion chained it to shame. Politics tried to legislate love.
I refuse them all.
What I am doing here, publicly and unapologetically, is reclaiming sex as sovereign territory. This is a countercultural act, a libertarian act, a spiritual act. It is the reclamation of what belongs to us: our bodies, our desire, our joy.
To perform intimacy openly is not exploitation — it is liberation. It is a declaration that we, as free human beings, have the right to love whomever we choose, however we choose, as long as it is rooted in respect, joy, and consent.
The Love Junkie Project
This site, TheLoveJunkie.com, is not a platform. It is not a corporation. It is not an industry.
It is a solo diary of sovereignty.
It is a cultural offering.
It is my public reclamation of the sacred.
Here, I share intimacy not as entertainment alone, but as philosophy in motion — a living extension of the words I’ve been writing and the music I’ve been playing for a quarter century.
Why Now
I have always known this was the next step. For twenty-five years I spoke it in poetry, in riffs, in cigarette smoke and protest. Now I live it, fully, in flesh and spirit.
Because sex is not profane.
Sex is sacred fire.
And when shared in freedom, respect, and love, it is the purest form of rebellion against a world built on fear and control.
Invitation
This is not performance for its own sake. It is an invitation:
I am Steven Leake.
This is my sovereign reclamation.
This is my counterculture gospel.
This is The Love Junkie Project.
